Desk Style Technology Classroom

The desk has equipment in one side and a computer in the other. There is a blue box on the desk that enables easy access to the classroom equipment. This contains 2 USB ports, projector off, power outlet, network jack and cables to hookup your laptop to the classroom media.

Instructions for using the Blue Box

The equipment side is pictured below and consists of a DVD/VCR combo, an amplifier, crestron equipment, a switcher and a master power switch. The master power switch should always be on, never turned off.

The desk is equipped with a computer running Windows XP or Vista as the operating system. The computer has a keyboard and mouse, a wireless presentation mouse, a DVD/CD-RW drive, several USB ports on the front and is connected to the internet and the campus network. A standard suite of software applications is loaded on the computer.
