About half of the University's mail is Standard mail. The remainder is a culmination of all other classes of mail with first class being the predominant class. The Mail Center receives approximately 3 million pieces of mail annually from the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to postal mail, the Mail Center distributes approximately 2 million pieces of campus mail a year. We service 147 departments/offices on campus and 13 sites off campus from Virginia Beach to Newport News.
