Enforcement
PTS is charged with the enforcement of these regulations. Enforcement personnel have the authority to issue parking citations and impound/immobilize vehicles.
Parking regulations are subject to enforcement every day and night in all lots and garages except from 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Exception: Resident, Quad, and Village areas are enforced day and night every day, including weekends and holidays.
All parking on the University is decal controlled; every vehicle must have a valid pass or decal. All authorized parking spaces are defined by three lines and/or curb stops. The responsibility for finding a proper parking space rests with the vehicle operator.
Under certain circumstances, parking designations may change. A sign as to its type labels the entrance to each lot. Posted signs supersede any listed designation or map in these regulations. Signs may at times be removed or missing from some lots; these lots remain University property and are subject to enforcement. Lot designations are annotated on the parking map provided.
Persons operating a motor vehicle on University property are encouraged to read these regulations or seek clarification of areas that are not understood.
