B.A. in Dance     Faculty     Classes      Current  Season      Scholarships     Student Dance Association




 

Through generous donations to the Dance Program,  four scholarships ranging from $750.00 to $4500.00
are awarded each year to deserving dance majors.

To be eligible for a scholarship through the dance program, a student must be a declared dance major and must exhibit exceptional commitment,  talent and a positive attitude. The Eva May Morris scholarship also requires that the student have
an overall GPA of 3.0 and be a rising senior.

Additional scholarships are available through the Office of Financial Aid.

 

<> Megan Fenton and Sherika Morman are the 2012-2013 recipients
<>of the Eva May Morris Dance Scholarships for Outstanding Senior in Dance.
<>The scholarship was endowed anonymously in the name of Ms. Morris,
<> a long-time figure in dance in the Hampton Roads area.

Camille Alison and Rashaida Hill are the 2012-2013 recipients of the Dance Department Scholarships
for outstanding dance majors.

Nicole Buonviri is the 2012-2013 recipient of the Melchor Award  for Outstanding Student in Dance.
