Errors which tend to show up in the majority of students' papers:
-
Leading tone in soprano skipping down
-
Seventh degrees not raised in minor keys on V and viio
-
Leading tones in minor approached from below causing +2 and +4

Moving all four voices up in progressions such as IV - V, iii - IV,
and V - VI

Missing chord tones (especially in 3 voices)
-
Incorrect doublings in root position triads

Using the leading tone in III chords in minor thus making the chord a III+
-
Lots of skips in individual voices

Bad melodic intervals: 7th, +2, +4, +5
