Master Plan Department Chairs Session on Thursday, January 24 from 8:30-10 a.m. in the Kornblau Alumni Center

Dear Department Chairs,

Old Dominion University is currently engaged in the development of a new campus master plan that will help guide the physical development of the university's buildings, infrastructure and campus amenities to support the university's mission and goals. We need your help as leaders in the university's colleges to make certain the plan reflects your college's academic and research needs and goals.

Please plan to attend a session for the department chairs on Thursday, Jan. 24, from 8:30-10 a.m., in the Kornblau Alumni Center.

At the meeting, representatives from the architecture and design firm Perkins + Will will provide a brief overview of the components of the master plan and lead a discussion to garner your opinions, ideas and experiences at Old Dominion.

At the meeting, the campus planners will be searching for your input on the components of the plan. We also encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas about any topic associated with the physical campus even if the planners do not specifically talk about the issue that is individually important to you.

ODU Master Plan Faculty Open Forums

We are holding a series of open forums to provide an overview of the master plan initiative and to garner your opinions, ideas and feedback.

Please plan to attend one of two Faculty Open Forums:

• Wednesday, Jan. 23, 3:30-5 p.m., Webb Center - James/Lynnhaven River Room
• Friday, Jan. 25, 3-5 p.m., 1002 Constant Hall
