Soccer Team Boasts Two All-Americans
Junior defender Trevor McEachron (Woodbridge, Va.) and senior forward Attila Vendegh (Bratislava, Slovakia) were named to the NSCAA/Adidas All-America team after an impressive season on the ODU men’s soccer team.

McEachron was named First-Team All-American for his stellar defensive play. His selection marks the first time a Monarch has been named a First-Team All-American since Tim Borer in 1985. Vendegh was named to the Second Team.

In 2003, ODU amassed a 15-4-1 record (6-2-1 in the CAA) and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Men’s College Cup before bowing to No. 2 seed Maryland, 2-1.

Field Hockey Player Makes USA Under-21 Team
Freshman Dana Sensenig (Denver, Pa.) was named to the USA Field Hockey 2004 Women’s Under-21 Team, which will compete nationally and internationally as it prepares age-eligible athletes for next year’s Pan American Junior Championships and the 2005 Junior World Cup. The squad features some of the top talent from last season’s NCAA Tournament.

In her first year as a Lady Monarch, Sensenig helped ODU to a 14-10 overall mark and a second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
