OVERVIEW

The Old Dominion University Community Development Corporation (ODU CDC) was granted a charter by the State Corporation Commission of Virginia on March 22, 2006.    The purpose of the CDC is to engage in a variety of activities primarily intended to (a) revitalize the communities  (b) develop the human and physical capital of the neighborhoods, (c) improve the lives of the residents of neighborhoods, and (d) support the community development interests of Old Dominion University (ODU).
