Grants/Funding Resources

On May 6, 2009 the ODU CDC was awarded a onetime grant from the Urban Research Park CDE, LLC in the amount of $200,000.00 to support the CDC and the community empowerment projects.  In May 2008, the ODU CDC received a $25,000.00 grant form Bank of America for operational support. 

FOUNDERS’ DAY Award

On November 6, 2009, The Old Dominion University Community Development Corporation received the Old Dominion University Community Service Award. The award was presented in recognition of the contributions of the CDC to  improve communities surrounding the university.

WACHOVIA GRANT AWARD

Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation has awarded a $20,000.00  grant to the Old Dominion University Community Development Corporation. The purpose of the grant is to support our  community rehabilitation projects. The letter was signed by Anna Powell, Community Affairs Manager.
