Hi all! My name is Ashley and I am a super senior majoring in English. As a native of Richmond, VA, I have chosen to complete my last couple of credits back at home via Distance Learning and internships. During my time on-campus at ODU, I was very active in the college experience. At some time or another I was a member of Ebony Impact Gospel Choir, Student Activities Council (SAC) and a student staff writer at ODU's Mace & Crown. I have an interest in starting a blog in reference to my transition from college and into the real world ... with a liberal arts degree.
I was born and raised in Sylvan Lake, Michigan, which is to me one of the best places in America. Due to Michigan's pristine wilderness, I've always been an outdoor enthusiast. This is part of the reason I chose to attend Old Dominion. In addition, I am a member of the lacrosse team and spend my time with them goaltending. Coming down here for lacrosse has been one of the finest experiences of my life. I've met some of my greatest friends, and have grown exponentially during my time here. My interests include: reading, writing, lacrosse, yoga, travel, music, my grandma, friends, pool, and harmonica. My major is professional and technical writing with a minor in public law.
