Thank you for your interest in graduate study at Old Dominion University. ODU is a vibrant, culturally diverse institution that offers a vast array of educational opportunities. Whether you are seeking a master’s or doctoral degree, career advancement through licensure or certification , or, have yet to decide what your educational future might be, ODU may meet your needs. Through the university’s colleges of Arts and Letters, Business and Public Administration, Education, Engineering, Health Sciences, and Sciences, ODU offers 55 master’s degrees, 42 doctoral degrees, 2 educational specialist degrees and numerous certification and licensure options. As a long-time leader in distance education, you will find that many ODU graduate degrees are offered through various delivery modes including web-based, CD Rom and video streaming. ODU has nearly 6,000 graduate students almost half of them are part-time. Our faculty is well published and recognized in the Commonwealth, nationally and internationally.

The Office of Graduate Studies serves as an advocate for graduate education at Old Dominion University, and collaborates with the college deans, graduate program directors, and the faculty to ensure excellence in all of our graduate programs.
