- Mathematics (3 hrs):
- There are no mathematics courses specifically designed for Honors College students
- Foreign Languages (0 to 6 hrs):
- There are no foreign language courses specifically designed for Honors College students
- Computer Skills (Various levels of computer knowledge are specified by the major programs in courses developed for this purposes):
- CS 126D (HNRS-Computers, An Introduction) is the honors equivalent of CS 101D

- Fine and Performing Arts (3 hrs):
- ARTS 126A (Honors: Art as Experience) is the honors equivalent of ARTS 122A
- ARTH 127A (Honors: Introduction to the Visual Arts) is the honors equivalent of ARTH 121A
- MUSC 126A (HNRS-Music in History and Culture) also fulfills the general education FPA requirement for Honors College students

- HIST 126H (HNRS-US in World Setting) is the honors equivalent of HIST 104H
- HIST 127H (HNRS-Europe in World Setting) is the honors equivalent of HIST 102H
- Literature (3 hrs):
- ENGL 127L (Honors: Enjoying Literature) is the honors equivalent of ENGL 112
- Philosophy (3 hrs):
- PHIL 126P (Honors: Intro to Philosophy) is the honors equivalent of PHIL 110P
- PHIL 227 (Honors: World Religions) is the honors equivalent of PHIL 150P
- PHIL 127 (HONORS: Science-Knowledge, Reality and Values) may also be used to meet the gen ed perspectives req in philosophy
- Natural Science and Technology (11 or 12 hrs):
- Oceanography 126N and 127N (Honors: Introductory Oceanography and Lab) are the honors equivalents of OCEAS 106N-107N
- Physics 126N and 127N (Honors: Introductory Astronomy and Lab) are the honors equivalents of PHYS 103N-104N
- Physics 226N and 227N (Honors: University Physics & Lab) are the honors equivalents of PHYS 231N and 232N. (Note: 231N-232N is designed for majors in the physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, and computational sciences. Students receiving credit for PHYS 231N-232N cannot simultaneously or subsequently receive credit for PHYS 101N-102N or4 PHYS 111N-112N).
