ODU Credit Union Member Emergency Fund
(Stop and Go Loan Program)
The Old Dominion University Credit Union Member Emergency Fund was created for members who are in need as a result of an unforeseen crisis or emergency. This program supports eligible members, or future members, who have had sudden emergency situations or require some financial help to weather tough times. These loans are designed to fill the financial gap through short term loans, without seeking the help of payday lenders.

Virginia State Employee Loan Program

The Virginia State Employee Loan Program, a partnership between the Virginia Credit Union and the Virginia State Employee Assistance Program, is now offering loans exclusively to state employees. The program links a financial fitness education program with loans of up to $500 for a six-month period. |

Full-time classified non-probationary state employees who are paid on a monthly or semi-monthly pay schedule are eligible for loans. As the program grows, employees who are paid on other pay schedules may be considered for participation. Virginia State Employee Emergency Fund

The Virginia State Employee Emergency Fund was created for state employees who are in need as a result of a recent, unforeseen crisis or emergency. It is a recognized charity of the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC). This fund supports employees who have had sudden emergency situations (for example, fire in the home, car accident, sudden illness, and more). |
