Board Approves Policy on Joint Faculty Appointments
The Old Dominion University Board of Visitors, at its Dec. 9 meeting, approved a policy on joint faculty appointments, along with resolutions to appoint two faculty members with tenure, to grant the title of emeritus professor to one faculty member, and to appoint four faculty members and 28 administrative faculty. Graduate Students in International Studies Course Produce Essay on "Comparing Voting Behavior in Advanced Industrial Democracies"
The students In Glen Sussman's fall semester International Studies 795/895 course, Comparative Political Behavior in Advanced Industrial Democracies, studied how, why and in what ways citizens participate in politics in advanced industrial democracies. As part of their assignments, they were tasked with writing a 1,000-word essay at the end of the course, which is reprinted here. (Full Story)
