ODU Nominates Nine Faculty Members for SCHEV Awards Program

Nine Old Dominion faculty members have been nominated for the 2011 Virginia Outstanding Faculty Awards program. Administered by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia and funded by a grant from the Dominion Foundation, the program will select statewide winners for awards of $5,000 each. Staff Dream Fund Accepting Applications Again; Proposals Due Feb. 25

The Department of Human Resources has announced that funding is available to support the return of the University Staff Dream Fund program, to assist deserving employees in realizing a long-held dream. (Full Story)

"Magic Dirt" Ceramics Show Opens Jan. 15 at Gordon Art Galleries

The Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries will open "Magic Dirt," a national juried exhibition showcasing contemporary ceramics sculpture, Saturday, Jan. 15. The show, which is free and open to the public, runs until Feb. 20. (Full Story)
