ODU's Wurl Joins Catlin Arctic Survey for Ocean Carbon Study

Oliver Wurl, a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, has joined the 2011 Catlin Arctic Survey for research that will keep him in the frozen north for the month of April. (Full Story)

SSRC Invites Questions – by April 15 – for Life in Hampton Roads Survey

The Social Science Research Center in the College of Arts and Letters is making plans to conduct its second annual Life in Hampton Roads telephone survey, and the SSRC encourages submission of potential survey questions from interested faculty. (Full Story)

Dance Theatre Spring Concert Coming to University Theatre

The University Dance Theatre presents its spring concert Wednesday through Saturday, April 13-16, at the University Theatre. The concert will include a wide variety of dance forms, ranging from ballet to jazz to modern. (Full Story)

Lisa Milne (left), assistant rowing coach, joined rowing team members Alissa Williams and Kiersten Stephens, and Gretchen Garbutt, the wife of head coach Dan Garbutt, to show off some of the equipment at the Women's Intercollegiate Rowing Center during the grand opening March 31. ODU hosted the University of Miami April 2 in its first races on the Lafayette River since the opening, sweeping all three events.
