Oliver Wurl, a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, has joined the 2011 Catlin Arctic Survey for research that will keep him in the frozen north for the month of April. ODU hosted the University of Miami April 2 in its first races on the Lafayette River since the opening, sweeping all three events.
