Sen. Jim Webb Among Speakers for Spring Commencement Programs

U.S. Sen. Jim Webb will be one of three guest speakers for ODU's 114th commencement exercises on Saturday, May 7. Approximately 3,800 students will be eligible to graduate. Traditionally, two commencement programs are held in May and one in December. This year, for the first time, there will be three programs in May. (Full Story)

Numerous Events on Tap for Blue Goes Green Week

Blue Goes Green Week, ODU's annual celebration of environmental awareness, kicked off Sunday with the Student Activities Council Day of Service, a cleanup of the Elizabeth River near campus. The week features an array of interactive events designed to demonstrate that being environmentally friendly can be simple, and fun. (Full Story)

Sen. Warner to Observe Demonstrations at VMASC April 20

U.S. Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) will make his first visit to the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center as a member of Congress on Wednesday, April 20. He will watch demonstrations of simulations and tour the facility, followed by a meeting with VMASC officials. (Full Story)
