ODU to Host European Union Ambassador, Seminars on Europe and U.S. Connections

European Union Ambassador João Vale de Almeida will deliver the keynote address at Old Dominion's "Europe and America - Learning from Each Other" conference at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12. The conference, which continues May 13, will feature a series of seminars on topics pertinent to the U.S. and Europe. (Full Story)

Researchers Report New Mathematical Models of Cholera Epidemic

Two young researchers at Old Dominion report in the recent Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that they have developed biomathematical models designed to prevent cholera from getting a new foothold in today's urbanized world. (Full Story)

Endowed M.B.A. Scholarship Established to Honor Bruce Rubin

For 16 years, Bruce Rubin, associate professor of finance in the College of Business and Public Administration, was the face of ODU's M.B.A. program. This month the university thanked Rubin by establishing an endowed M.B.A. scholarship in his name. (Full Story)
