ODU Hosts IEEE International Conference on Next Generation Infrastructures Next Week

ODU will host the fourth annual Next Generation Infrastructures conference Nov. 16-18. The conference, which is expected to attract 200 leading researchers from around the world, will look at the design, analysis, operation and evolution of critical infrastructure globally. (Full Story)

Maurice Jones, president and publisher of The Virginian-Pilot, gives the keynote address Monday for ODU's Public Service Week, which runs through Saturday. The series of programs, designed to spotlight public service as a vehicle for community engagement and an opportunity for careers, features a variety of speakers and events, along with a career "explorium" for students considering jobs in public service.
