ODU first baseman Chris Baker, a senior from Chesapeake, awaits a pickoff throw in last Monday's home game against VMI. The Monarchs beat the Keydets 13-12 in 10 innings. ODU's next home game is scheduled for 3 p.m. today against Massachusetts, followed by a three-game homestand against Hofstra March 23-25.
