Kate Broderick, faculty and community liaison with ODU’s Office of Educational Accessibility, received a 2012 Humanitarian Award March 29 from the Tidewater chapter of the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. She was honored at the 48th Annual Humanitarian Awards dinner at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. Pictured with her are Bruce Thompson, CEO of Gold Key PHR Hotels & Resorts, who chaired this year’s event, and Carolyn Abron-McCadden, chair of the VCIC Tidewater chapter.
