Ready to rumble
Thanks to a 6-1 win over Stanford (left) and a 6-4 come-from-behind victory against UConn in regional play, Old Dominion's top-ranked field hockey team, led by All-American Marina DiGiacomo, will be in action this weekend at Foreman Field when the Lady Monarchs host the NCAA Final Four tournament. Old Dominion will play Wake Forest in the first semifinal at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, followed by North Carolina vs. Maryland at 6:30. The title game is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
