Spring Commencement

ODU awarded honorary doctorates to Matthews and Leonard Pitts, who spoke to graduates at the morning program. Also receiving honorary degrees were: Richard F. Barry III, vice chairman of Landmark Communications; Deborah DiCroce, president of Tidewater Community College; Ethel L. Grandy, a local activist; Frank Reidy, president of McClees Associates; and Charles A. Taylor, president of Thomas Nelson Community College.


Journalists share words of advice with graduates
