Chat Live with an ISSS Advisor!
ISSS has established a Windows Live Messenger account with our intlstu@odu.edu e-mail address. For the time being, we will be trying out this new method of working with students to be available for quick questions that don't mean you have to walk all the way to Spong Hall.
To be able to do this, you must download Windows Live Messenger and install it on your computer. You'll then need to create a Windows Live ID; this process is very simple. You'll be sent a link to the e-mail you provided when you signed up. After clicking on the link, you should be ready to chat!
Times: We currently are available each weekday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., except when all advising staff must be out of the office for meetings, etc.
Required Information: When you IM us, please start off with your name and UIN so we can access your information more quickly and easily.
Any suggestions about this new tool for advising can be e-mailed to us and will be taken into consideration as we decide how this tool can best be utilized by you.
