Lemonade sale raises funds for Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters

Youngsters from Old Dominion University's Child Development Center sold lemonade to help kids with cancer at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, under the auspices of the annual Anthem LemonAid fundraising project. Their lemonade stand in front of Webb Center raised $137.21 in an hour's time, according to Beth Pearson, an instructor at the center.

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield teamed up with Children's Miracle Network to sponsor the 9th annual Anthem LemonAid "Kids helping kids fight cancer" fundraiser during the weekend of July 16-18.
