43rd Street Intersections Impacted by Construction

Beginning Tuesday, June 24, several intersections along 43rd Street will be affected by construction.

The City of Norfolk is widening the street and the roadway is now ready for paving.  The work is expected to take four days to complete.

The entrance to garage B will be blocked; please use garage A for parking.

The intersections at 43rd Street and Elkhorn Avenue and 43rd Street and Parker Avenue will be one lane only. A flag man will direct traffic.

Garage A will be accessible from the intersection of 43rd Street and Elkhorn Avenue.  However, upon exiting, cars will be permitted to take right turns onto Elkhorn Avenue only.

During the four-day construction period, drivers may experience a five- or 10-minute delay along 43rd Street as the paving machine does its work.
