Faulty Satellite Disrupts Some TELETECHNET Services

The satellite used by Old Dominion University to deliver its TELETECHNET courses has experienced a significant technical failure.

However, all four Higher Education Centers (Northern Virginia HEC, Peninsula HEC, Tri-Cities HEC, and Virginia Beach HEC) are running at full capacity, with all courses available. Students enrolled at these locations should attend as expected.

The Quantico, Dahlgren and ODU-Richmond sites are running at limited capacity and students should contact those sites to determine whether their courses are available.

Restoration of TELETECHNET satellite service will be completed as quickly as possible.
