Pledge Cards Due by Dec. 18 for Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign
Old Dominion's participation in the 2008 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign will wrap up in the next couple of days, and the goal of raising $130,000 is clearly in sight.
Through Tuesday, Dec. 16, the campus community needed only $13,662 in gifts and pledges to meet this year's goal. Karen Travis, coordinator for the ODU campaign, encourages employees who have not yet turned in their pledge cards to their unit coordinators to do so by Thursday, Dec. 18, at the latest. Unit coordinators should then send checks and cards the following day to CVC accountant Lynda Shirk for processing.
Meeting these deadlines will ensure that donors who so choose can apply their contributions to payroll deduction.
