OFFICE OF RESIDENCE LIFE NAMES NEW ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Old Dominion University's Office of Residence Life recently named Michael Wadsworth, a Norfolk resident, as assistant director. Wadsworth, who currently serves as an area coordinator for the office, will take over the position on Jan. 10.
As one of two area coordinators since 1999, Wadsworth has been administratively responsible for four of the university's six housing facilities. Prior to joining the staff at Old Dominion, he served as coordinator for Greek housing and programming at the University of Southern Mississippi and as resident director at the University of Maryland.
Wadsworth earned his bachelor's degree at Oakland University and his master's at Kent State University. He is a member of the American College Personnel Association, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers, the Virginia Association of College and University Housing Officers, and the Virginia Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
