PROFESSOR EMERITUS APPOINTED TO VAAB BY GOV. WARNER

Leon R. L. Wang, professor emeritus and former chair of civil engineering at Old Dominion University, was appointed Dec. 15 to the Virginia Asian Advisory Board (VAAB) by Gov. Mark R. Warner.

The VAAB was established in 2001 to advise the governor and serve the Commonwealth. Members of the board represent the diverse ethnic and geographic interests within Virginia and share a common goal of connecting all Asian-American communities with the state government.
