NEXT GENERATION OF TRANSPORTATION TO BE ANNOUNCED AT NEWS CONFERENCE TODAY

Old Dominion University President James V. Koch and other officials will announce the next generation of transportation and a major gift to the university at a news conference at 2 p.m. Friday in the Board of Visitors Room in Webb University Center.

The project, which is a collaboration among local, state and national partners, represents "a marvelous opportunity for our engineering and science faculty and students," according to Koch.
