HIXON APPOINTED TO STATE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON REVENUE ESTIMATES
James A. Hixon, member of the Old Dominion University Board of Visitors, has been appointed to the state Advisory Council on Revenue Estimates.
He has served on ODU's Board of Visitors since 2002 and served as rector from 2004-2006.
Hixon is senior vice president, legal and government affairs, at Norfolk Southern Corp., a position he has held since December 2003. He received a bachelor's degree in finance from Virginia Tech in 1976, and his J.D. and M.L.&T. in 1979 and 1980, respectively, from the College of William and Mary School of Law.
