ODU COMMUNITY REPRESENTED IN 'INSIDE BUSINESS'

Several members of the Old Dominion University community were included in Inside Business magazine's recent "Women in Business Achievement Awards 2003" section.

They are:

MaryAnne Dukas, head of school, Chesapeake Bay Academy -- M.S., 1992, education administration;

Elizabeth A. "Betsy" Duke, executive vice president of community bank development and president of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, SouthTrust Bank; board member, Old Dominion University Foundation -- M.B.A., 1983;

Kay A. Kemper, founder, Kemper Consulting; former vice president for institutional advancement, ODU -- M.P.A, 1980;

Deborah S. Stearns, managing director, Advantis Real Estate Services Co. -- B.S., 1980, business administration;

Dona Storey, president, Quality Technical Services -- B.S., 1973, psychology;

Joan Gifford, Gifford Management Group -- former member, Old Dominion University Board of Visitors;

Ann Shumadine, founder, Signature Financial Management -- former rector, Old Dominion University Board of Visitors; chair, Old Dominion University Foundation Investment Committee.
