LATINOS IN VIRGINIA IS TOPIC OF DISCUSSION DEC. 8

"Latinos, Latinidad and the Hispanic Community in Virginia" is the topic set for a round table discussion on Thursday, Dec. 8, at Old Dominion University.

Co-sponsored by the Latin American Studies Program and the Old Dominion Department of Languages and Literatures, the event will take place from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in room 921 of the Batten Arts and Letters building.

Featured guests include: Jack Rattigan, manager of Davidson Media's WVXX, Radio Selecta 1050 AM, Beatriz Amberman of Beatriz Amberman's Hispanic Folk Ballet, Augusto Ratti-Angulo, editor and publisher of El Eco de Virginia newspaper and Barbara Cornicello, editor of La Voz Hispana de Virginia magazine.
