ODU honors employees at annual recognition program
The Department of Human Resources honored nearly 150 Old Dominion University employees at its annual recognition program on Dec. 9.
Employees who have worked 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years at the university were recognized during a luncheon in Webb Center.

Thirty-five year employees not pictured are Franklin Thrift from the Office of Facilities Management and Vanessa Walker from the Office of Finance.
Employees honored for 30 years of service included: Patricia Beauter, academic affairs; Ruth Colver, Perry Library; Cheryl Davis, president's office; Mary Hayward, biology department; Cheryl Hicks, counseling services; Edith Joyner, admissions; Barbara Phelps, distance learning; Michael Sachon, OCCS; Cecilia Turnbull, finance office; Linda Wallace, finance office; and Jeraldine Williams, College of Arts and Letters.
The following employees who retired this year were also recognized: Linda Adkins, university events; Leonthia Avery, registrar's office; Ann Brown, College of Arts and Letters; Helen Caldwell, Honors College; Dimas Cortez, parking and transportation services; Inez Fuller, intercultural relations office; Deborah Goodman, finance office; Ella Hoskins, facilities management; Essie Howard, Perry Library; Herb Ketchum, OCCS; Marlene Owens, finance office; Veronica Patrick, auxiliary services; Marcha Schriver, human resources; and Elton Woody Turpin, psychology department.
