ALLEN TO DISCUSS BOOK ON EDUCATION REFORM DEC. 4
Dwight Allen, eminent professor of educational reform at Old Dominion University, will discuss his recent book, written with entertainer Bill Cosby, at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in the Child Study Center, 44th Street and Hampton Boulevard.
The presentation is part of the Old Dominion Early Childhood Education Program's "Teacher Talk" lecture series. Allen and Cosby's book, "American Schools: The $100 Billion Challenge," was published in October by Time-Warner.
