TIM SEIBLES TO APPEAR ON "WITH GOOD REASON" DEC. 10
Tim Seibles, assistant professor of English at Old Dominion University, will be a guest on the radio program "With Good Reason" Sunday, Dec. 10.
A showcase for the research and expertise of faculty at Virginia's higher education institutions, "With Good Reason" can be heard in Hampton Roads on WHRV-FM (89.5) at 6 a.m. It can be heard live on the Web at www.whro.com.
The episode, titled "What Bugs Bunny Said to Red Riding Hood," will focus on adult erotic poetry.
Seibles latest poetry collection, Buffalo Head Solos, concentrates on sex and race while maintaining a certain amount of comfort and familiarity in a culture that is not overly comfortable with either topic. He is also the author of Body Moves, Hammerlock and Hurdy-Gurdy. Siebles is a former National Endowment for the Arts fellow and recipient of an Open Voice Award.
More information, as well as streamed audio of past shows, is available online at www.withgoodreasonradio.org.
