FOOD FOR HACE THANKSGIVING BASKETS STILL NEEDED
A record 100 employees have been nominated to receive a Thanksgiving food basket this year, and the Hourly and classified Employees Association asks that you give generously between now and 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, to help make their holiday a bit brighter.
Nonperishable food items are being collected at more than 60 locations throughout the campus. This food will be picked up the morning of Monday, Nov. 24, and distributed the following day. If you forget to bring food in by Monday, you can still drop off your donation from 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, in the York River Room of Webb Center.
Monetary donations (with checks made out to HACE) should be submitted to HACE Treasurer Judy Smith, in room 219 of Koch Hall. This money will be used to purchase grocery store gift certificates, which recipients can exchange for turkeys.
HACE thanks you for your support of this worthwhile project.
