BLOOD DRIVE TODAY OFFERS UNIQUE COMPETITION FOR CAA'S 10 INSTITUTIONS
The athletic department and Delta Sigma Theta will sponsor a blood drive on campus Tuesday, Nov. 19, as part of the Colonial Athletic Association's "Have a Heart" Blood Challenge.
Those who want to give blood should come to the North Mall of Webb Center between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The blood challenge offers a different kind of competition among the 10-member institutions that comprise the CAA. Based on the number of people who show up to donate blood at the various schools, the winning institution will be awarded a trophy that will remain on display until next year's drive.
"This represents a wonderful opportunity to show good team and school spirit for a worthy cause," said President Roseann Runte. "I will be there to make my donation and I hope to see you there as well."
