SCHWITZER NAMED TO DWELLING PLACE BOARD

Alan M. "Woody" Schwitzer, a licensed psychologist and associate professor in Old Dominion University's Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling, recently was accepted onto the board of directors of The Dwelling Place, a Norfolk shelter for homeless families.

Schwitzer has worked several years with the shelter, one of the department's key undergraduate internship sites.

Jill Jurgens, assistant professor of educational leadership and counseling, also was recently selected to the board of the YWCA, another internship partner of the counseling program.
