ODU Retains Services of Consultant to Assist in Search for Business Dean
Old Dominion University has engaged the consulting services of Isaacson Miller to assist in the search for a new dean of the College of Business and Public Administration. The firm will work with a search committee chaired by Chandra de Silva, the dean of ODU's College of Arts and Letters.
Isaacson Miller representatives will meet over the next few weeks with faculty, staff and students from the business college, as well as with key administrators and advisory board members, in preparation for an intensive and aggressive national search this fall.
The search committee members will be announced on the university website, and periodic updates on the search will be provided.
Gilbert Yochum, University Professor of economics at ODU, has been appointed interim dean of the College of Business and Public Administration, beginning July 25.
