Gov. McDonnell Appoints Five Members to ODU Board of Visitors
Gov. Bob McDonnell on Friday announced the appointments of five members to four-year terms on the Old Dominion University Board of Visitors.
Marc Jacobson, of Norfolk, a retired Norfolk Circuit Court judge, was reappointed to the board. The four new members are:
- Jeffrey W. Ainslie, of Virginia Beach, president of the Ainslie Group;
- Dee D. Gilmore, of Chesapeake, chief of staff for U.S. Rep. J. Randy Forbes;
- Luke M. Hillier, of Virginia Beach, chief executive officer/chairman of ADS Inc.; and
- Fred J. Whyte, of Virginia Beach, president of Stihl Inc.
Both Ainslie and Hillier are ODU graduates. They received bachelor's degrees in 1983 and 1994, respectively.
