VETERANS' DAY CEREMONY FRIDAY AT NOON

Old Dominion University students, faculty and staff will commemorate Veterans' Day with a ceremony on Kaufman Mall at noon Friday, Nov. 11.

The brief service will include the laying of a wreath on Old Dominion's Alumni War Memorial plaque by President Roseann Runte and a performance by The Faithful Men, under the direction of Nancy Klein. The Office of Student Activities will distribute red, white and blue ribbons to the campus community in Webb Center.

The event is free and open to the public.

Earlier in the day, Runte will join ODU's Army and Navy ROTC units on their 6:30 a.m., 1.5-mile run around the campus.
