Old Dominion University's Women's Center will celebrate its 25th anniversary this week with "These Healing Hands," a performance by the Old Dominion Speech Chorus, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. today in the Cape Charles Room, Webb Center.

At age 25, Old Dominion University's Women's Center is one of the oldest centers of its kind in the U.S. and the oldest in Virginia. Its purpose is to help women with issues they face in daily life, as well as in the workplace, be it sexual harassment or assault, gender inequality, reproductive freedom, eating disorders or self-esteem.
