A mural project done collaboratively by Old Dominion University students and Virginia Beach elementary school students is being profiled on VBTV, the Virginia Beach channel of city government and events.

ODU art lecturer Patricia Edwards and her elementary art education class worked to create a mural on a temporary wall in a wing of the Virginia Aquarium, which is undergoing renovation. Edwards tasked her students with creating a project for the 30 elementary-age children, which come from various schools. The theme of the mural is "The Geological History of Virginia Beach."
