Committee on Salary Compression to Present Initial Findings, Collect Feedback at Nov. 19 Forum
The Provost's Ad-Hoc Committee on Salary Compression will hold a forum from 3-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, in 1005 Constant Hall. Faculty members are invited to attend.
"The committee is charged with examining the nature of salary compression at the university and with developing some suggestions for guidelines and procedures to alleviate the problem, understanding that this is likely to take significant funds and that a complete fix may not happen overnight," Provost Carol Simpson said.
During the forum, the committee will present its initial findings and invite feedback from all interested parties.
Chaired by Chandra de Silva, the committee includes the following members: Steven Bell, ReNee Dunman, Larry "Chip" Filer, Angelica Huizar, William Leavitt, Moustafa Moustafa, Lytton Musselman, Virginia O'Herron, William Owings and Barbara Winstead.
