ODU Weather Update

Old Dominion University will open as scheduled Friday, Dec. 17.

Forecasters are calling for temperatures hovering near freezing in the early morning hours, which may create some slick areas. Officials recommend that students, faculty and staff give themselves some extra time for travel and drive slowly and cautiously.

No student should endanger himself or herself trying to get to an exam if the conditions in their area prove unsafe. In such instances, the provost has asked faculty to find alternative options and students should contact their professors to explore such options.
