PREPARING FUTURE FACULTY INITIATIVE HOLDS TALK ON LIVELY TEACHING NOV. 9
The Preparing Future Faculty initiative at Old Dominion University will hold "Talk about Teaching" event Thursday, Nov. 9, from 12:15-2 p.m. in Room 151 of the Perry Library. The event, which is open to all graduate students, will focus on ways teachers can liven up classes.
A video, "How to Have a Good Class Discussion," will be shown and Mohammad Al-Zein, a graduate student in biological sciences, will lead a discussion on the same topic.
Drinks and desserts will be served to participants.
The PFF organization at ODU holds career days, workshops and other events to help young instructors succeed. For more information, call 683-5057.
