VETERANS DAY OBSERVANCE IS NOV. 11

Old Dominion University will hold a Veterans Day observance from 12:30 - 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 on Kaufman Mall.

During the ceremony, remarks will be given by University President Roseann Runte, Rear Adm. Stephen A. Turcotte, commander, Navy Region, Mid-Atlantic, and G. William Whitehurst, the George M. and Linda H. Kaufman University Lecturer in Public Affairs.

The Army Continental Band will provide music for the ceremony, which will include a moment of silence and the playing of Taps.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in North Cafeteria in Webb Center.
