ANNUAL CAA BLOOD CHALLENGE TODAY IN WEBB
The Old Dominion Athletic Department's fourth annual Colonial Athletic Association Blood Challenge will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Webb University Center's Hampton/Newport News Room.
The Challenge pits CAA schools against each another to see who can collect the most blood donations. The 2004 event resulted in more than 2,114 donations from the 10 CAA campuses, a 50 percent increase over the year before. With the help of local blood service centers, a count will be kept of how many people show up to donate blood on that campus's designated day. Based on those numbers the CAA will determine a winner.
The CAA Blood Challenge at ODU is co-sponsored by the Interfraternity Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Pan-Hellenic Council.
